Fisher (Martes pennanti), Gifford Pinchot National Forest, Washington
This fisher was photographed a few seconds after it's release into the GP National Forest from its naive habitat in British Columbia, as part of a reintroduction effort. Often called "fisher cats", these animals are actually members of the weasel family.
